Are Weddings worth the Money?
Ask a Question
Are weddings really worth the money?
Recently, 100 couples got married in one day at a famous wedding venue for just £100 each, while the average wedding costs around £21,000. With such a huge difference in price, what do you think? Is the traditional wedding worth the expense?
I'd save money on the wedding and keep it for the divorce proceedings that would probably happen in the future
What is classed as a traditional wedding? Church and Wedding Breakfast can be done quite economically, the costs arise with OTT venues, parties, dresses. Register Office you can still have dress etc with a party after, in both cases you're married, standard fees are required for both. Mine cost £35 x 2 Notice plus £68 Registry Office fee. Divorce fee is £593 Notice plus solicitors.
