Memory boxes of letters, weddings, funerals, photos and trinkets. I don’t have space elsewhere.
I have memory boxes in our wardrobes too, as like you have no space elsewhere. I have my sons memory box and then one for my husband and I. I think a memory box in the wardrobe is perfectly normal.
JLouM That sounds wonderful to have a special place to keep all your treasured memories in one place, mine are kind of scattered around. I really need to sort them out.
Old learn to read books. They are from the 1970s and 1980s. Used to teach my kids to read the ok and keep trying to get rid of them and I'm like nope they are vintage.
Jerseydrew I am terrible for keeping stuff that I think will be valuable one day, unfortunately that one day has not happened yet.
May not be very weird but in our spare wardrobe I keep my spare hoover and carpet cleaner.

Several reduced to clear shoes (green! red! yellow!) cost between £1-£3 each. I have never worn any of them.
jam45 I am terrible for this as well. I have shoes that felt really comfortable in store but when I go to wear them they hurt like hell.
kamala Luckily we have a loft to store all our decorations but I have way too many. I have got a herd of reindeers up there, no joke.
I have a 40 year old pair of jeans that I bought in the USA. I haven’t been able to get them for years but decided to keep them because I knew that “one day” I would. So, after a strict low carb diet I lost masses of weight and 2 weeks ago I tried them. Oh no … they are too big. 
That is an amazing story and well done to you. I do the same in keeping clothes that hopefully one day will fit me again but that one day hasn’t happened yet, but I keep trying.
anasg Wow, lucky you they still fit. I have an outfit that my friend at the time both purchased the same short denim skirt with zips front and back, unfortunately or fortunately it doesn’t fit anymore.
