What's the Most Unnecessary Thing You Always End up Packing in Your Suitcase?

I always take my big coat on summer holidays which is completely unnecessary but i kind of feel lost without it. I won’t be taking it this summer though since not enough space

I usually take a travel iron but end up never using it .

I haven't ever packed anything unnecessarily. Just I forget something I really need like deodorant so have to buy more. Or take the wrong coat like a padded coat and I'm too hot or a really thin coat and too cold. So ended up buying new coats while on holiday!

Probably extra towels, only really need one for the beach. Hotel provide the rest

A power bank.

I tell myself it will be invaluable if for some reason I cannot get power to charge my phone, but in all the years I've travelled I've yet to use it.

Blooming thing weighs like a brick too.

I always take an extra change of clothes or 2 to the days I'm staying anywhere. I'm a tad paranoid after going to Niagara Falls and spilling a hot chocolate on the way. Luckily we stopped for breakfast on the way and could wipe the majority of it off me lol

Mayhem - tops and shoes, far too many for a week's holiday and I didn't even wear them.

I always take a really dressy outfit for if we are invited somewhere posh and glam. ............... Always bring it home unused.

Probably sunscreen as I always hide from the sun and don't like the feel of the heat on my skin. I am either on a covered terrace or under a sunshade.
