Whats Your View on Novelty Socks?

As we are large family I struggle sorting out socks for everyone. I tend to leave them in a pile so everyone gets their own. I personally love novelty socks as they don’t get mixed up with all the others.
I absolutely love them, just because they are funky. I wear them all the time. I even have Xmas ones
possy I have loads and Christmas ones as well which are worn at anytime. The only time I wear white ankle socks is at the gym but that’s not very often, the gym that is not the socks!
That’s a good point about them not getting mixed up. For me i just buy all black socks, that way they always look like a pair when i wear whatever socks
jms19 love that idea. My oh wears black and the kids often wear only black socks so it's trying to make them match for the right person
Jerseydrew It drives me mad, then I’m in wrong when I get it wrong but they all look the same to me. They sometimes get it wrong themselves which is funny.
eyeballkerry yeah I often get blamed for giving the wring socks to the wrong person. Oh well they should sort it out themselves
Love them. I Wear them for work even though no one knows I wear them. Plain socks are dull
Jerseydrew When I wear mine they can’t be seen when I am out, they are covered by my trainer or my jeans/ trousers.

I would only wear them in bed. I’m not a fan. Where can you wear them? Christmas is also only once a year so looks out of place.
JLouM When I say novelty socks, I mean anything that isn’t plain black or white really. Most of my socks have eyes. A few have ears. My family know to buy me these ones.
JLouM who cares if they are novelty. I wear them year round. I don't care what others think to be honest
Jerseydrew Not saying it’s wrong and if you are happy and comfortable with them then great. I was just saying it’s not for me really.
I like socks in winter only otherwise I prefer to go barefoot.When I do wear socks I love em wild.
MelissaLee1 I am the same, I go barefoot as much as possible. I wear my fitflops most days even when the weather turns, my feet get very hot.
Nope not for me, I remember seeing the ones that looked like you’re wearing socks and sandals .. a big no no !
LL81 I saw the ones you are talking about recently. I think it was Tik tok video and someone had won them. I must admit they did look hideous.
I always think their the sort of thing people give as gifts, not something I would wear.

I have a lot of socks too all on different colours and patterns! 
Not keen on novelty socks but have bought bright coloured ones for my husband and son, they don’t wear them!
SaveMeSunday I like them and doesn’t have to be Christmas for me to buy them. It’s an easy presents for someone to get me though.
I've got loads of socks. Wear small trainer socks in hot weather I normally wear really bright ones, I have full length socks which I wear when it's abit colder I have Mickey mouse, bright coloured, striped, flowers, Snoopy and Christmas ones. I have really thick socks for when it's really cold. Got loads of slipper socks too as prefer these to slippers got lots of Me to you bear ones.
KAW18 Wow, where do you keep them all. One very big drawer! I am not keen on slipper sock’s especially the ones with the rubber stoppers on the bottom, I tend to get stuck to my wooden floors!
eyeballkerry I've got lots of zipped plastic boxes that I got from B&M. There really useful have them in separate boxes depending on what type of socks there are.
They are definitely easier to identify when making pairs of socks up. But I must admit, I prefer plain socks
SueWard I think they are fun, I don’t show mine off when i am out as they are covered up. But if I’m indoors you will see them, ears, eyes all different characters.
