Wilkinson Alternative Products

Such a shame Wilkinson is going but thought it would be a good idea to help each other out and find the Wilkinson product you are looking for in a different store. I used to get my sandwich bags, hair dyes and suntan lotions from here so now looking to find similar but still at the same price.

From the subject I thought this was reading it as Wilkinson sword as in razors was going. I don't shave so no idea but came here see what was going on. On the actual place Wilko I can't remember the last time I went in to one must be 20years maybe so can't really help there either

I've been looking in various wilko stores recently to see if I can find any bargains; Yeovil, Taunton, Weymouth and Weston Super Mare and all I've bought is some packing tape. Generally even with 30% off I'm not finding much that is competitively priced. They were selling reams of A4 paper (500) for £4.75 but recently I bought 2 for £8 somewhere and also £7 for 2 in Tesco (400 sheets per pack) plus made use of a Tesco shopping voucher. £4.75 doesn't seem great to me at all. My mother bought a pack of weedkiller reduced to £4.50 but a couple of days ago she bought the same pack in ProperJob for £3.99 and that wasn't a reduction. Wilko seems to have got very uncompetitive in the last couple years which is why I guess it has gone into Administration. Home Bargains is soo much better in pricing nowadays and B&M is somewhere in the middle of them in my opinion.

Yes I will miss Wilkinson's too, such a handy shop but we have a B & M which is handy too or when out of town I like to take a look in Home Bargins, these two shops are probably the nearest to Wilkinson's in my opinion, also the Pound shops are handy.

I don’t know if you have a Savers near you but we’re often cheaper than Wilko. We started getting all our toiletries from there.

I love Wilkinson's even though I didn't go often it's always been a favourite ❤️ BM and Poundland have both bought a load of stores.
