Where there's a will there's a way
And this poor mans wishes eventually found their way to the charity he bequeathed via a will written on the back of an empty Mr Kipling cake box
It is a bit sad he had to leave his house and belongings to the charity as he had sisters and nieces, but they did not get on
There was a dispute over the will though, as he had written it in two parts , one part on the back of a Young's frozen fish fillets box and the second part on the Mr Kipling box , and a court had to decide if this was legal , not because of where it was written but because he had separated it into two parts
It was found to be legal in the end so the family did not get anything from his will and it went to the charity as he had requested
The only other stipulation was about his dog , he wanted him cremated and to be placed with him and his mother
At least everything went to a good cause , the British Diabetic Association, despite the unconventional way the will was written
So they didn't get on and probably did nothing for him, yet thought they were entitled to his money ect... I'm glad the court ruled in his favour and his wishes where carried out eventually
