Worker in China Caught on Camera Urinating in a Beer Vat
In the News
I love Tsingtao Chinese beer, if ever i go to a chinese restaurant i tend to order it or buy it if i spot it in the supermarket
But after reading this i am having second thoughts
I don't doubt that some workers might do something similar in other food factories , maybe not so disgusting and being more discreet, possibly a disgruntled worker or just someone out to cause mischief, so people never know if there has been contamination of a product at some point unless there is a recall
But this was caught on camera, and when seen publicly caused the products shares to plunge on the Shanghai Stock Exchange
I wonder what the employees punishment will be, bearing in mind this is China and the damage he has caused ?
We have both partaken of Tsingtao beer in the past but like you we will be having more than second thoughts in the future. It's disgusting. I doubt if the offender will ever be seen again
Did you see this one about someone urinating in baking bowls? www.express.co.uk/news/world/1828500/bakery-paid-20000-fired-employee What has happened to justice and hygiene?
tumblespots Yes i saw that one T, she got £20, 000 compensation because they used cameras to spy on her even though she was doing wrong, terrible
Is this the first time though?" another comment reads.
I shudder to think. As to his punishment, the Chinese are quite barbaric with criminals and this one has made a company lose face to the whole world. Wouldn't surprise me if he were executed.
martinlufc5637 I don't know which is worse M, the beer or tap water , with pesticides, chlorine, bacteria etc from our caring water companies, its which is the lesser of the two evils
