Are You Working in Your Dream Job?

Ask a Question

I believe you must be very lucky if you are. If not in your dream job what would it be. I thought I would have liked to have been a mid-wife.

No I am not working in my dream retirement lol. But seriously had I had the choice I would have loved to be an historian.

Just the usual working in retail for myself. Dream job would be a lottery winner 😂 jokes aside I’m not sure what I ever wanted to do or be tbh

I would have done something arty but school didn’t go well so just went straight to office work and just ordinary jobs to get by.

No and in fact i work in a sector i never thought i would do, i do enjoy my job though. I wanted to work with exotic animals and did have a job in a zoo for a bit but wasn’t meant to be.

Not sure if I would call it my dream, but I have been there over 40 years and I love my job and am incredibly proud of our hospital and the NHS in general. Even popping in as a customer in a couple of weeks!

No, but I’m where I need to be for now and I’m grateful I have the opportunity to be working with good people

Yes I would say I am. There ate certain aspects of it that I don't always enjoy but I'm doing what I always wanted to do. I've got a pretty great workplace, again a few wee things could be better and my colleagues are pretty good too. I'm grateful for my job.

No, but the work type based on the industry I’m qualified to work in, is what I want to do. Unfortunately at my current firm there is no leadership from the Partners and my line manager has no leadership skills and is belittling. I’m waiting for the NHS to sort me out, which has been a constant fight (one issue 6 years and the other 3 years, all issues now getting worse, I can’t go out much now, trouble when there are rubbish doctors) so I can then move firms, my health is trapping me in an unhappy job situation. I do play the lottery in the hope I can pay for the private healthcare and retire early and go to places in the sun very frequently!

No I worked in passenger transport all my life in one form or another, but all pretty much routine and mundane day after day .
