Aldi is set to introduce its latest offering, the Contevedo Organic Cava, priced at £8.99 for a 75cl bottle, on the 9th of September. This launch coincides with Organic September, a period promoting organic products. As consumer interest in sustainable choices rises, Aldi's new organic wine aims to meet this demand. According to The Cava Regulatory Council, sales of organic Cava have surged by 24.59%.
Aldi's Contevedo Organic Cava boasts a well-rounded profile with white fruit aromas, citrus hints, and buttery pastry notes. The wine is produced using fewer pesticides and adheres to strict organic standards.
For those interested in other organic options, Aldi offers the Castellore Organic Prosecco (£6.99, 75cl), which uses hand-picked grapes and renewable energy practices. The Castellore Organic Prosecco Rosé (£7.99, 75cl) has earned a Silver award at the Drinks Business Global Prosecco Masters for its red berry and citrus flavors.
