Aldi Shoppers Score Big With 99p Bluey Toy Bargain

Image
  • Aldi surprises parents with Bluey toys scanning at just 99p.
  • The deal includes beach-themed figures of Bluey and her sister, Bingo.
  • Shoppers share their excitement on social media, planning to stock up for future gifts.

Parents are flocking to Aldi, and it's not for the groceries this time. A "bargain" Bluey toy, featuring the beloved Australian blue heeler pup from the hit animated series, is scanning at the tills for an astonishing 99p. This show, which has captured the hearts of children worldwide since its debut in 2018, follows Bluey, her dad Bandit, mum Chilli, and sister Bingo on their fun-filled adventures. Now, Aldi is bringing a piece of that adventure home with Bluey-themed toys at a steal.

The toys in question? Beach-themed figures of Bluey and Bingo, complete with a seashell and a small shovel for sandcastle-building antics, plus a sandy costume, all neatly priced at 99p. However, parents should note the age restriction of 3+ to prevent any choking hazards due to the small size of the figures.

The discovery was first shared by a delighted parent on Facebook, sparking a wave of excitement among other shoppers. With comments ranging from "Need to keep our eyes out for these!!!" to plans of stocking up for Christmas, it's clear these toys are set to be a hit.

Aiya Zhussupova at The Sun reported on this unexpected delight, noting the frenzy of parents eager to ****** up these toys for their little ones. But that's not all that's on offer for bargain-savvy families. A major high street chain is giving away free Lego sets, including Harry Potter and Animal Crossing themes, at Smyths Toys stores, with the event slated for Saturday, April 13. Each child can claim one set, ensuring the joy of building is spread widely.

Furthermore, Asda has slashed prices on the ever-popular Squishmallows, now available for less than a pound. These cuddly companions have become a favorite among kids, although their availability can sometimes be hit or miss.

For those navigating the online toy market, the British Toy and Hobby Association offers valuable advice, from shopping early to staying vigilant about too-good-to-be-true deals and ensuring toys are age-appropriate.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "The frenzy over Aldi's 99p Bluey toys highlights the joy of finding great deals that bring happiness to our kids without breaking the bank. It's a reminder of the simple pleasures in life, like watching your child's face light up over a new toy. And with more retailers offering freebies and discounts, it's a great time to be a savvy shopper."
