  • Special Offers: UK patrons can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free offer on the Spicy Mayo Double Whopper via the Burger King UK app from May 7-10.

Burger King has announced the relaunch of its crowd-pleasing Spicy Mayo lineup at its UK locations, starting today with the Spicy Mayo Double Whopper. This reintroduction includes a special twist to the iconic Chicken Royale, now dubbed the Spicy Mayo Royale.

The Spicy Mayo Double Whopper, a hit since its initial UK launch last summer, boasts two juicy flame-grilled, 100% British and Irish beef patties, layered with crunchy pickle slices, fresh onions, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, all nestled within a toasted sesame bun. The burger is enhanced with a zesty blend of sweet ketchup, creamy and spicy mayo, and a slice of cheese.

For those who favor poultry, the Spicy Mayo Royale features tender, crispy 100% chicken breast topped with smoky bacon strips, fresh lettuce, creamy and spicy mayo, and tomato ketchup, all encased in a toasted Royale sesame bun.

Juliana Cruz Lima at The Sun reported that the Spicy Mayo Double Whopper is priced at £8.79 alone or £11.89 as part of a meal. To celebrate the return of these favorites, Burger King is offering a buy one, get one free deal on the Spicy Mayo Double Whopper from May 7 through May 10, exclusive to users of the Burger King UK app.

Adding to the excitement, Burger King is reviving its Halloumi Fries, which were previously removed from the menu. Available from April 23, these fries made from 100% Cypriot halloumi can be enjoyed as a 5-piece or 8-piece side and come with a Sweet Chilli sauce, now also orderable through Uber Eats.

Social media users have expressed their enthusiasm for the return of these favorites. Comments on Facebook range from simple praise like "Oh my fave thing from BK" to expressions of relief that the discontinuation of similar items elsewhere won't leave them craving.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "Burger King’s strategy to reintroduce popular items with a new twist not only caters to the taste buds of their loyal customers but also cleverly ignites new interest across the UK."
