Deliveroo are Now Selling Eclairs for Mother’s Day- With Cheeky Messages Inside
Food delivery service, Deliveroo, has collaborated with patisserie company Maitre Choux, to create eclairs specially for Mother’s Day, with a message on each one.
The tongue-in-cheek eclairs come in four flavours- Salted Butter & Caramel, Persian Pistachio, Spanish Raspberry, and Very Dark Chocolate.
A Deliveroo spokesperson said, “We’ve all been guilty of last minute shopping for Mother’s Day, turning up with a sorry looking bunch of flowers and the last remaining naff gift card.
“We believe D’Eclair-actions of Love are the tastiest way to show your mum you’re thinking of her this Mother’s Day.”
Each message on top is written by patissiers in Maitre Choux’s Kensington and Soho stores, and then boxed and ready to be delivered to your mum’s door.
The messages include: ‘I’m moving back home’, ‘Can I borrow £20’, ‘Your card is in the post’, and ‘I’m your fault’.
Maitre Choux said, “With the help of Deliveroo, we are distributing D’Eclair-ations of Love across the capital, giving Londoners every reason to treat their mum this Mother’s Day.
Sons and daughters looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift will be able to order these exclusively from Deliveroo on the 6th March, and each box of four costs £25.
They’re available while stocks last, and as Mother’s Day is this Sunday, you’ll need to put your order in quick.
