- Fan Reaction: Strong calls on social media for certain items to become permanent menu fixtures.
McDonald's has confirmed the removal of eight limited-edition items from its menu today, including the much-loved Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry. Fans of the fast-food giant have just hours left to enjoy these seasonal offerings, which have been part of the Easter celebration menu.
The removal list includes both the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry and its mini version, which blend soft dairy ice cream with chunks of Cadbury Dairy Milk, topped off with a Creme Egg sauce. This dessert has been a standout favorite, stirring up passionate pleas on social media platforms for it to remain a permanent item.
Other notable departures include the Hot Cross Bun Pie, Hot Cross Bun Latte, Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry, Mini Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry, McCrispy Deluxe, and the Halloumi Fries. The latter, featuring four halloumi cheese sticks in a light batter with a tomato dip, has returned to the menu annually, each time garnering a strong fan base hoping for its permanence.
Keira Clarke at The Sun reported these changes, highlighting the temporary nature of McDonald’s promotional items which frequently rotate to provide novelty to customers.
Adding a hint of excitement to the menu shift, McDonald’s will introduce 12 new items tomorrow, including the much-anticipated Lotus Biscoff Frappe and the return of the Chicken Big Mac. As these items will also be available for a limited time, fans are encouraged to visit their local outlets soon.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "It’s always interesting to see how McDonald’s keeps its menu dynamic by introducing new tastes while phasing out others. It certainly keeps the dining experience fresh and exciting for customers."
