  • McDonald's to launch mini hashbrowns on October 16, available for breakfast only
  • 5-piece portion priced at £1.49, with a 15-piece sharebox at £2.99
  • Fans say the new snack reminds them of American Tater Tots

McDonald’s is set to introduce a new breakfast item this October – mini hashbrowns. Priced at £1.49 for five pieces or £2.99 for a sharebox of 15, the crispy potato bites are already creating buzz among fans. Many have taken to social media, likening the new snack to the popular American Tater Tots.

One fan commented, “Looks like Tater Tots to me,” while another said, “They need to be an all-day item.”

Despite the excitement, the mini hashbrowns will only be available between 6am and 11am as part of the breakfast menu, starting October 16.

McDonald’s has been known to introduce limited-time items, so it’s still unclear if the mini hashbrowns will become a permanent fixture.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented: “McDonald’s is great at keeping things fresh with new menu items. These mini hashbrowns will likely be a hit for breakfast lovers.
