McDonald's has confirmed that its popular Monopoly game will make a return to restaurants on 6th September 2024, much to the delight of fans. The competition, which is a favourite among fast food lovers, will run for six weeks, giving participants a chance to win hundreds of prizes, including free food and potentially large cash rewards.

Although the exact list of prizes is still under wraps, last year's edition featured significant rewards such as £100,000 in cash and 2,000 "gold cards" that provided free McDonald's meals for a year. Given the history, this year’s prizes are expected to be just as enticing.

Laura McGuire reported in The Sun that the game involves collecting stickers from McDonald's food packaging, which can then be used to win instant prizes or entered into larger draws. The game pieces can be redeemed at any McDonald's branch, and some may require the use of the McDonald's app.
