- Surprise Bags: Shoppers can pick up discounted food bags, filled with items nearing their sell-by date.
- Sustainability: This initiative helps reduce food waste while offering significant savings.
Morrisons has expanded its popular food discount scheme with Too Good To Go, now available at 930 of its stores. Yellow sticker enthusiasts can look forward to snagging "surprise bags" filled with high-quality food nearing its sell-by date, all at a fraction of the usual cost. Since their partnership began in 2019, over two million of these bags have been sold, and with this recent expansion, that number is set to soar.
The surprise bags can be reserved via the Too Good To Go app, making it easier than ever to save money and prevent food waste. These bags have become a hit among shoppers, often compared to the yellow sticker items that appear on store shelves.
Georgie English reported in The Sun that Andrew Edlin, Senior Sustainability Manager for Morrisons, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, "Customers and colleagues continue to tell us how much they value Too Good To Go’s Surprise Bags from Morrisons."
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, added, "Morrisons' expansion of the Too Good To Go scheme is a win-win for both shoppers and the environment. It's fantastic to see more people getting access to these savings while reducing food waste."
