Morrisons Launches Cadbury Heroes Pick and Mix But Shoppers Have Concerns
- Morrisons introduces Cadbury Heroes Pick and Mix in 15 stores.
- Customers can fill a £4 cup with various Cadbury Heroes treats.
- Shoppers express concerns about cup size and value for money.
Morrisons has made a sweet new addition to some of its stores, launching a Cadbury Heroes Pick and Mix feature in 15 locations. This new offering allows customers to fill a £4 cup with their favorite Cadbury Heroes treats while shopping in-store, much like a traditional Pick and Mix.
Keira Clarke at The Sun reported that the Pick and Mix includes a variety of Cadbury favorites such as Dairy Milk, Twirl, Wispa, Dairy Milk Caramel, Fudge, Creme Egg Twisted, Crunchie Bits, and Dinky Decker. Shoppers can mix and match or fill their cup with just one type of chocolate if they prefer.
However, the response from customers has been mixed. Many shoppers have taken to social media to express their disappointment with the size of the cups, suggesting they do not offer good value for money. One user commented, “Just buy the full-sized ones,” while another remarked, “Better to get a tub.” A third user added, “They look absolutely tiny,” and a fourth asked, “That tiny tub is £4?”
For comparison, a 300g Cadbury Heroes Pouch costs £3.50 in stores and online, and includes treats like Cadbury Crunchie bites, Cadbury Eclairs, and Dairy Milk Caramels. Morrisons also offers a deal where you can buy two 650g tubs of Cadbury Heroes, Roses, Celebrations, or Quality Street for £7.
Despite the concerns, the Cadbury Heroes Pick and Mix gives customers the flexibility to choose their favorite chocolates in one cup. To find a participating store, customers can use the Morrisons store locator tool. Keep in mind that prices may vary by location, and delivery charges may apply for online orders.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "The Cadbury Heroes Pick and Mix is a fun idea for chocolate lovers, but it's important for shoppers to feel they’re getting good value. Hopefully, Morrisons will take customer feedback into account to improve the experience."
