Poundland to Launch Loyalty Scheme Across 62 Stores
- Poundland introduces new loyalty scheme, Poundland Perks, in 62 Scottish stores.
- Successful trials in Northern Ireland and Isle of Wight pave the way for expansion.
- Major UK-wide rollout planned following Scottish launch.
Poundland is set to introduce its new loyalty scheme, Poundland Perks, across 62 stores in Scotland. This move follows a successful trial in 41 stores in Northern Ireland last year and an initial trial on the Isle of Wight.
Ruby Flanagan reported in the Mirror that the new scheme aims to reward loyal customers with exclusive offers and discounts. The positive feedback from the trials has encouraged Poundland to expand the scheme further across the UK.
According to reports, shoppers will get 100 points for every £1 spent in store. Once shoppers earn 5,000 points, they'll get a £1 voucher. The rewards app will also offer promotions on select product groups and digital vouchers. They'll also be competitions and the chance to win freebies for rewards app members.
The scheme should be rolled out from 14th June in Scotland, with a wider roll out planned for later in the year.
