Poundland Launches New £3 Meal Deal Cheaper Than Tesco and Sainsbury's
- Poundland introduces a £3 meal deal, cheaper than Tesco and Sainsbury's.
- Over 400 items to choose from including sandwiches, wraps, salads, and drinks.
- Managing Director Austin Cooke claims it's the best value available.
Poundland is set to shake up the meal deal market with its latest offering, set to launch within weeks. Priced at just £3, this deal includes a main, a drink, and a side, undercutting similar deals from Tesco and Sainsbury's—even with their loyalty cards.
The meal deal features a variety of options for mains, such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, sushi, and rolls. Popular choices include ham and cheese, chicken and bacon, and tuna salad sandwiches, as well as chicken tikka wraps and pasta salads. For sides, you can choose from pastries, chocolate, crisps, fruit, and meat trays, with around 200 drinks available to complete your meal.
James Flanders at The Sun reported that Poundland’s Managing Director, Austin Cooke, highlighted the exceptional value of the new meal deal, stating, “This meal deal is the best value in the land. There is no one that can touch our value here. We’re 20% cheaper than the next competitor, and that is with a loyalty card.”
To illustrate the savings, consider this example: buying a chicken and bacon pasta salad (£2), a steak slice (£1.25), and a large Redbull (£1.75) separately would cost £5. However, in Poundland’s meal deal, these items together cost only £3, saving you £2.
The new £3 meal deal will be available in all 850 Poundland stores across the UK in the coming weeks.

I might give Poundland New Meal Deal a try, but I prefer Boots Meal Deals. It is value for money.
