Tesco's New Popcorn Flavour Causes a Stir For Just £1.20
- Tesco launches new vanilla-flavoured popcorn
- Priced at just £1.20, ideal for movie nights
- Also available in strawberries and cream flavour
- Fans rave about the taste on social media
Tesco shoppers are raving about a new "insane" popcorn flavour that’s rapidly selling out. The supermarket has introduced a vanilla-flavoured popcorn, priced at just £1.20, making it an ideal snack for movie nights.
The packaging highlights the unique butterfly shape of the corn, designed to catch more flavour. For those not keen on vanilla, Tesco also offers a strawberries and cream variant.
An enthusiastic shopper shared the news on social media, posting: “2 new popcorn flavours at Tesco, £1.20 each,” along with a photo of the bags. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with comments such as “I NEED,” and “The vanilla is insane! Had some yesterday for cinema.”
One person tagged a friend saying, “Movie night,” while another commented, “Bet this is yummy.” However, not everyone was impressed, with a few saying they wouldn’t buy them again.
Tesco isn’t the only supermarket with new popcorn offerings. Recently, Asda introduced a Raspberry Ripple flavour for £1, adding to the sweet and salty classic options. B&M also drew attention earlier this year with its Chupa Chups cola flavour popcorn for £1.
Popcorn remains a favourite snack for film nights, and Tesco's new flavours add a fun twist to the classic treat.
Jon Rogers reported in The Sun that the new popcorn flavours are Tesco’s own brand.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented: "Tesco's innovative popcorn flavours are a delightful addition for movie nights. At £1.20, they offer great value for a tasty treat."
