- Available only from June 14 to June 16, coinciding with Father’s Day weekend.
- The Brunch Burger features a beef patty, American cheese, maple-cured bacon, a fried egg, and a hash brown.
Wetherspoons has announced the return of its popular Brunch Burger to all 809 locations across the UK and Ireland, but fans will need to act fast to enjoy it. The burger will be available exclusively over Father’s Day weekend, from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16.
Last year, the Brunch Burger made a comeback after a decade and was met with enthusiastic praise from customers, who dubbed it "legendary." The burger comprises a three-ounce beef patty, American-style cheese, maple-cured bacon, a free-range fried egg, and is topped with a hash brown. It's served as part of a meal with chips and a choice of a soft or alcoholic drink.
Olivia Marshall at The Sun reported that Wetherspoons has not yet confirmed the pricing for this year's offering, but last year it cost £7.15 with a soft drink and £8.55 with an alcoholic drink. The meal clocks in at 1,234 calories, and prices may vary by location.
James Vaughan, Wetherspoon’s marketing executive, expressed confidence that the Brunch Burger’s return will be a hit, saying, “The brunch burger will return by popular demand for one weekend only – and I am confident that customers will welcome its return to mark Father’s Day.”
Wetherspoons has been busy updating its menu, adding items like a ramen noodle bowl, Shawarma chicken wrap, and American-style pancakes. The pub chain also revived its popular Monday Club, offering drinks at reduced prices every week.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "Wetherspoons knows how to bring back crowd favorites just in time for special occasions. The limited-time return of the Brunch Burger is a great example of listening to customer demand."
