Wetherspoons is gearing up to delight football fans by screening Euro 2024 games across 788 of its pubs starting next week. From June 14, patrons can watch every match of the tournament, which is being held in Germany, at their local Wetherspoons.
Sam Walker reported in Latest Business, Retail & Property that Wetherspoons has confirmed over 20 pubs, lacking screens, will not be showing the matches. A spokesperson for Wetherspoons said, "Football fans can enjoy the Euro 2024 tournament live at Wetherspoon. Wetherspoon’s pubs will be showing all of the fixtures throughout June and July. So wherever your local is, you won’t miss out on the action."
The tournament's semi-finals are scheduled for July 9 and 10, with the final set for July 14. While Wetherspoons has yet to announce their specific opening hours for these dates, the Government has permitted pubs to stay open until 1am if England or Scotland reach the semi-finals.

As someone who doesn't have a TV license such sporting events I can't watch anyway at home. I can't even see the political discussions of the coming election but I'd still rather not pay for the TV license and my mother lives nearby so will probably watch the England games there.
Not been in a Wetherspoons since 2020 so we could get to the final and win it and don't expect to be in a spoon's anytime soon .
