'All I Want for Christmas' Co Writer Questions Mariah Careys Claim She Wrote It

Don't get me wrong , i like Mariah Carey, and her christmas hit is iconic
But i would also question her claim she created this hit on her casio keyboard when she was a child
This is what her co writer is saying and he says they actually created the song together
He says even now she has no notion of how music is created and doesn't know about chord changes and music theory
So how could she have created a complex song on a childs keyboard as she stated in her memoirs ?
In the meantime she is being sued by the authors of a different song with the same title seeking $20 million in damages
Maybe this is the reason for her claim , to show she produced this when she was a child ?
But why the co writer does not back her up is a mystery , surely he stands to lose out if there is a lawsuit ?
Anyway we will have to wait to see the outcome , but i believe 'all she wants for christmas' is some peace , and possibly another casio keyboard to produce some more hits

Oh my god she's been sued over this song loads of times I think some people are just jealous and want some money
This just reinforces that it's best if song writers have proof of songs they have written
