Best Thing about Christmas Ending

Technically, the Christmas decoration should be taken down on January 5th or 6th, but most don't follow Christmas religiously.

I'm particularly not looking forward to this year, it kind of feels like an extension of 2020/21 in a way than a brand new year. I'd say this is why...

First it's with a specific nationality, then they target everyone. We've already been thru this to know how it goes.

No more Xmas adverts on the TV. Just going to have to put up with the sale ones now for a little while.

I’m almost ashamed to say I’m so relieved that Christmas is over as no more present buying and no more decorations!

The shops aren't as busy. It is always a nightmare going to the shops at Christmas time as the traffic is very slow, shops are packed so spend ages waiting in the checkout queues. I don't mind doing this as it's only once a year but do enjoy it being less busy.

I like getting back to some sort of normality. I can fully concentrate on finishing preparing for my new baby due at the beginning of next month. Child No 5 definitely struggled through Xmas to find Xmas cheer for our other kids,but we did it. They all got what they wanted

We've taken down our decorations today and started having a clear-out. It feels great to declutter and organise everything.

Buying all the cheap post Christmas treats that people are No longer interested in.
