Canada's Medical Assistance in Dying Ad (Aka MAID)
Other
While watching this ad, YouTube mentioned Samaritans right below the video for people who may feel suicidal so that's ironic that the U.K. wants to save people from dying, while Canada is keen on pushing people towards.. death? Yikes.
I read this on YouTube before: "Is it selfish to save someone from suicide or is it more selfish to not let that person take his/her own life?"
Personally, the righteous thing to do is to save that person from taking their own life.
Last year, two Country singers took their own lives and that really sadden me because that could have been prevented. I can't even imagine what their loved ones went thru and still do as they're no longer around.

It is a difficult one P, if someone takes their own life because of depression then that is a tragedy that should have been prevented because of their state of mind , if it is a terminal illness for example then maybe the person should be given the choice of dignity
The advert probably takes it a bit too far, people don't need to be told or encouraged, it is something personal that the person and their family need to deal with in their own time in my opinion
