Cheese Board

Ask a Question

I've consumed a ridiculous amount of cheese this festive season. What makes your cheese board special? I've got to have cranberry and wesnelydale, spicy cheese, double Gloucester... And of course crackers! Image

I'm pretty done with cheese for the year but thought it would be nice to see any tips and tricks that make your selection special that may just make it to mine or another LD'rs cheese board next time

I like to serve some semi dried fruit like apricots and figs plus some nuts with cheese. Must have butter, not spread and seedless grapes.

I don't like fruit in my cheese at all. And my favourite is Stilton especially at Xmas.

I do love cheese and crackers however I am such a plain cheese person. My favourite is redlester and the only other cheese I like is a small amount of mild.

Love Wensleydale and cranberries. All the cheese is discounted after Christmas as well so hardly a time for restraint or denial lol.

Really like Black Bomber albeit a bit expensive. Also partial to some Tintern, but it's hard to get hold of.

Not a big fan of blue cheese like stilton except in soup.

I love cheese at Christmas. We tend to change cheese every year depending on what's on offer. Sainsbury's had a nice Garlic herb cheese this year which I'd happily buy again.

I love cheese and crackers, not had a lot this time, got some for new year though. I have lots of chutneys, grapes and wine to go with it. I love Stilton, port cheese, any really. I like a good selection x

Not only did I buy cheese for Christmas, but two of my Christmas gifts were cheese, a selection of Welsh cheese but also gin and tonic cheese, we will be eating cheese until at least March 😀😂

I normally add chutney either grapes or Apple or some times olives as well as a selection of crackers.

Bet you didn't try the rotten Italian cheese with live maggots. 😆

I honestly couldn't even if it was "clean."

I only tend to buy fancy cheese at Christmas time. Apricot cheese is a big favourite in our house, along with some brie.
