Have You Ever Felt Like You Watched a Movie Before, But Can't Remember It?
Ask a Question
I am just watching the film, John Wick on ITV, I would have sworn blind that I had seen it numerous times, but don't recognize any of it, I had a similar thing with Pulp Fiction. I think it's because the films are so well known, or I have seen so many extracts that you think you have seen it.
Am I the only one this had happened to ?
Totally the same with me, I've seen clips and memes on Facebook and Instagram of love actually but never watched the full film.
This has happened to me lots of times, l remember the beginning or end but never the middle...l also see bits of series & movies on Facebook and end up binge watching them..
I watched the John Wick film too - and didn't realise it was one of a series of films (I hadn't seen any of the previous ones). It might be that you watched an earlier John Wick film, hence you not recognising any part of the one last night... don't worry you're not "losing it"
davidstockport Its the first in a series, I think I may have seen the 2nd film, but they all seem to merge into one another
Tom John Wicks 2 is available on Prime it's free, so I am going to watch to if I remember this film, 10 mins in & I don't recognise anything
I suspect some of us have been dropping off or resting our eyes at times. That and looking at dusty shelves and wondering what to make for dinner the next day. Never mind they all come around again anyway. I've seen Taken 1,2 and I think 3 and don't know who belongs in which film. Much the same The Bourne Ultimatum and various other follow on pics. Who's John Wick? Do I need an introduction?
MelissaLee1 I enjoyed it, I would say there was a lot of violence, but John Wicks an ex assassin who comes out retirement, after his wife dies to go after the person who stole this car and who he thinks has killed his dog, very high body count
beccatavender Fortunately the film lighting was so dark throughout the film that is was very difficult to tell who was killing who or even who had been killed. I actually thought there was something wrong with my TV but I've since checked a trailer on YouTube (on my lap top) and that looked as if the person responsible for the lighting had been killed too.
davidstockport It was supposed to be a film noir, I think they may have taken it too far
Yeah.
When I was a kid I watched a movie with a gorilla that scared me, and a few years ago I found it again: Disney's Joe Young (1999)
Not scary anymore.
There are plenty, particularly the recent films - tbh I don’t watch them properly anyway, as a lot of them are only good for 20 mins
My husband rarely watches a film from beginning to end. He reckons his body is programmed to sleep when inactive
