Content Update: Best Broadband Deals
Latest Deals
Hello Deal Hunters!
More improvements to Latest Deals content: Best Broadband Deals!
Each month we'll now be sharing the best broadband deals.
If you have any tips of tricks to help us find the best Broadband deals, please share them below
Here's how we're doing it... It'd be good to hear your thoughts.
First, we manually research as many Broadband deals we can find and put them into a giant spreadsheet:
We note:
- Contract length
- Speed
- Line rental
- Data limits
- Set-up fees
- and more
We do not include cashback as not everyone likes this.
How do we choose what to include?
What makes a good broadband deal is dependent on your needs and the availability in your local area.
At present, we filter all the deals for fibre plans, with a minimum download speed of 50mbps (approx), and then sort by monthly cost.
EXAMPLE: Top 10 Fibre Broadband Deals January 2023
What do you think of this process? Should the criteria be different? Please let me know in the comments below.
What about faster broadband plans, or cheaper plans?
We have also created a bigger guide for broadband deals which includes:
- The fastest plans (despite higher costs)
- The cheapest plans (including non-fibre, slower plans)
- The best value plans by cost per speed (£/mbps)
What about if you're on Pension Credits, Universal Credit, JSA etc.?
At the bottom of each broadband post we include a bit of information explaining that you may be able to get cheaper prices if you have specific state benefits.
Extra helpful guides
Plus, on the Latest Deals website (not app), at the bottom we also provide extra related guides on how to save further, student broadband, more explanations about fibre broadband and more:

If you're in London (for the better or worse), go with Community Fibre as they offer the highest speeds and at very affordable prices.
I checked out every other ISP there was and they all had very slow speeds (UL/DL) compared to CF. I did post a thread that CF's engineers did not show up four times and that was very annoying, but after it's set up it works flawlessly. No phone connection, though. I read they can include phone although it's VOIP so it's not really traditional phone rather it's thru the internet (if it were to go down, so would that phone connection, I assume).

My mother used Direct Save Telecom and they were a vile company and if you look at google reviews they are 2.2/5 so like Talktalk I would never ever use them based on her experiences.
