First, we manually research as many SIM deals we can find and put them into a giant spreadsheet:
There are hundreds. We note the contract length, data, calls, minutes, and other information.
- We do not include cashback as not everyone likes this
How do we choose what to include?
What makes a good SIM deal is dependent on you and your needs. Plus, the coverage in your local area.
At present, we filter all the deals for a minimum of 8GB data, rolling 1-month contract, and then sort by monthly price. Then we take the top 5 and put them into a deal post:

What about bigger data plans, and cheaper data plans?
We have also created a bigger guide for SIM Only deals which includes:
- The cheapest SIMs with at least 1GB of data
- Big data plans sorted by the cost of that data e.g. (£0.20p per GB)

Every month we'll be posting a new post as well as updating this guide. You can find it by searching "SIM Only". It'll also be sent out in our daily email newsletter and broadcasts.
For a very basic sim card, there's RWG (£15 bundle inc. EU roaming) and 1p Mobile (seems to include EU Roaming too, though check if interested).
Expired deal: There was Sky Mobile's £2p/m (unl. calls/text and 100mb data) for 36 months or pay in full, and then it's usable for a lifetime (you'd pay for the cell phone only than the sim). U.K. only, no roaming.
