Not actually won anything for about 6 months, which is unusual for me.

I'd love a trip to Australia & New Zealand.

Or failing that a wodge of cash.

Enter as many free online competitions as you can. You have nothing to lose.

A good few quid in the bank and a nice holiday wouldn't go amiss.

I would be happy to win anything. I just enter as many competitions as I can when I have time. Wouldn't mind winning a bit of money.

I’d love a new car. My husband isn’t really interested in cars and has the attitude our current one keeps passing MOT so stick with it! So winning a car would be my dream prize.

I sadly can't win health, which is awful at the moment, I'm surprised I made it to the New Year. So hopefully I'll continue investigations to find out what is wrong!

I'd love...

Giant Prizes:

- a nice sum of cash,

- a house,

- after 12 years of being engaged, a nice wedding might be nice with a good honeymoon.

Big Prizes:

- Bicycle

- Dash Cam

- Ice cream maker

- Gaming Laptop

- PS5 Disc edition

- Xbox Series X

- a UK Holiday stay

- Charity Donation

Small Prizes:

- Sterling silver Earrings

- Non-alcoholic drinks

- Healthy food subscription box

- Bird Bath

I'll put some tips in a separate comment.

I like to focus on entering once competitions (not those that have unlimited entries or daily entries, so that time can be used entering more competitions)

Enter and forget - no win is guaranteed, counting my wins is great, but I don't count any I enter, as it will be depressing!

Have one site you can tick off what you have entered (you can usually see if you've already entered on RC/Gleams and social media so they don't matter so much) if you use several different sites, it can get confusing and you can accidentally enter again and disqualify yourself.

When filling out your information, make sure that your phone number and home address is actually required. Often it will be on the form, but they only need your name and email address, the rest is often used for marketing.

Marketing tick boxes, if not required will not give you any advantage, so you do not need to sign up.

Only enter when you have free time and want to enter, don't make it a chore/job with no reward.

Local competitions and effort based competitions give you a higher chance of winning, due to less entries and competition.

If you enter those like PickMyPostcode, they will not notify you, you will need to check daily/twice daily, so it is worth bookmarking it.

Focus on prizes you can use or gift, not just because of something's value, as a lot of terms say you shouldn't sell on.

It is good to have a group of people/friends if you are on social media you can tag and they don't mind all of the tags. I also don't enter many competitions that ask you to share for this reason (You are only allowed One Facebook Account and I'd hate to fill my FB wall with competitions. Plus if you do, make sure it is a public post and not set to friends only.)

Most importantly: Comping is addictive and ENJOY!

DeBunny Another tip B, don't enter boo hoo competitions on instagram where they say you can repost comments as many times as you wish to gain extra entries

If you do this they will ban you , it happened to me, off instagram for 4 days until tomorrow , they consider it spam, i just wont bother with them anymore, they are usually worldwide entries anyway, less chance of winning

telmel True, but you can usually tag as many as you like, as long as you post a different emoji after your next tag/comment. It is only classed as spam as you are repeating the same action of (tag, tag, tag continuously) a different emoji is classed as a different comment. New Instagram accounts are mainly flagged up more too, as you are more of a risk of being a spammer.

A lot of instagram accounts say you can tag as many times as you like, I don't enter Instagram competitions very often, for this very reason. 😊

DeBunny The one i entered said to post the same emoji D and said the more you post the more entries you get

It is not the first time it has happened, i dislike instagram mainly for this reason, plus i have never won anything on there 🙄
