Eurovision Song Contest :The Story of Fire Saga (Netflix)

Did anybody else watch this over the weekend?.I kinda loved it and the music was genuinely fantastic. It reminded me how much I missed Eurovision this year.

I've just finished watching the film. I wasn't expecting to like it, as it's had some unfavourable reviews. Plus, I'm not the biggest fan of Will Ferrell or the Eurovision Song Contest. But, I thought it was fun and did enjoy it overall. Although, I think it lost it's way a little when they first got to Edinburgh. However, I would still recommend it to anyone who has Netflix.

The most unrealistic part of it was the fact that Edinburgh was hosting the contest, which means that the UK must've won the year before.Which we all know would never happen.

I enjoyed it. Have not watched Eurovision for years, but the film was definitely captured the cheesy spirit of it, particularly the songs and acts

I've not watched it yet but I'll probably check it out. I heard Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode discussing this during their film reviews. Got to agree with what they said - given the huge Eurovision fan base and the wealth of material to work with - it's surprising that nobody has made a film like it previously.

True. Eurovision was always ripe for parody.

Loved it. It’s one of the funniest tongue-in-cheek films I’ve seen during this lockdown. Can’t stand Eurovision, but this film highlighted the best part of it - the part where there’s some fun

I'm going to watch it as I like Will Ferrell, but I did read a list of 10 things that are wrong in the film. Also the Will Ferrell sings his own songs but the lead lady is miming to someone else singing.

The songs are mimed,by Rachel McAdams at least,Will sings his own,but they are genuinely great.
