I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I was just wondering. What was your favourite part of Christmas 2022. Mine was seeing my children getting the main gift they asked for. I absolutely love Christmas and love to treat my kids. I think this year will be the last mine believe. I have 14 year old, 10 year old and 8 year old. X
I probably sound like the grinch but I like it when it is over. When my children were younger it was a different story, it was magical and fun.
eyeballkerry I am dreading next christmas because I don't think my two youngest will believe in the magic then. X
AmyPitchers It is sad when that happens but I always told mine if they didn’t then they wouldn’t get any presents, this lasted well into their twenties!
Mine was when we realised we had the wrong size of batteries for our sons new racetrack and my dad went to the local garage to buy some. It might sound daft but it made me realise just how much my dad loves his grandson and how lucky we are to have him.
I stayed with my son and his family and my favourite moment was just my son and I taking the dogs for a walk on Boxing morning. Despite being ill I really needed some fresh air and as many parents will know, when your kids are married it is hard to have time alone with them.
Mine was going to see my grankids opening there presents love the look on there faces thats what Christmas is all about
