For those with artificial trees…

Pre-lit, Separate lights or fiberoptic?
It isn’t about who has the most aesthetically pleasing tree, Stacey Solomon put up a video of hers the other day and it’s full of relatives traditional, older ornaments like the foil presents and the wooden rocking horse type things!
Also do you have or use your tree for more than one occasion? I’ve heard people having Easter trees and Halloween trees…
We gave a fake tree. Got when woolies shut. It's black. Not overly big nor prelit. Wouldn't go for real, it's messy and the tree grows for a few years gets cut down and isn't really better for the environment.if I had a real I'd go for potted. Cba with prelit as when one bulb goes it's a pain to fix and likely to get binned then people fixing
I was watching an ocd cleaners programme on YouTube last night. One woman gets a new fake tree every year. Decorates it in November puts it in the box and the pops it up 1st December. Wasteful from both environmental point of view and financially point of view
We bought our artificial Christmas tree, about 4-5 ft, when we first moved Argos 29 years ago! It’s still going. It’s just lost one branch section that broke but decorations hide it. The top branch also broke a bit and a bit wonky but we bend it over in half and force it straight to put star on top. Used to do tinsel but not this year. Also as small tree we raise it on a strong coffee table to give appearance of extra height.
