New UK Coin Designs

The 1p depicts a hazel dormouse, the 2p the red squirrel, the 5p an oak tree leaf, the 10p the critically endangered woodland grouse the capercaillie, the 20p a puffin, the 50p a salmon, the £1 sees two bees and the £2 coin features a rose for England, a daffodil for Wales, a thistle for Scotland and a shamrock for Northern Ireland.

I like them, I'd like to think that I had a big bag of national flowers & bees at home that were worth something!

I like the look of them still going to be weird seeing his face on the back tho

I think they look amazing and it's a great fit for his love of nature, my favourite our the Bees on the £1. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Those £1/£2 coins kind of look like Euro coins. Eh.

Really like these coins so will definitely be on the look out for any of these in all of my change. I like the puffin, squirrel & salmon ones the best so fingers crossed i manage to nab some of those.

I like the look of these I collect the different 50p coins and £2 ones hopefully I get these will be strange seeing the king on them instead of the queen for all these years

I wonder why do we still need the 1p and 2p coins? That’s just waste

They are lovely designs, I like them, I especially like the £2, I’m surprised this isn’t the £1 one as it’s more popular and the current £1 has a similar design idea representing the nations

Love the new coins, j have put a couple of 50p's in me specials jar. I see the new stamps are out aswell
