Tech Whizz Kelsey has worked super hard to deliver a huge improvements to Latest Deals' website (not the app, yet). So a BIG thank you to him from all of us of the Latest Deals community.
Please shout when you spot things not working, we expect a few things may be broken and are working fast to fix. We really wanted to give this to you before Christmas!
p.s. The new version of Latest Deals is rolling out steadily to all members. You may need to refresh the homepage a few times to see it. If you don't, don't panic, it'll be coming to you soon!
I like the different search categories being on the left hand side, making it easier to search, apologies if this was an existing feature

JoTarpley Hey, sorry, yes I apologise your Chat post sharing feedback on the new website design was put into moderation despite it being posted a few minutes before. You beat me to it! It was to help us gather feedback and any bug reports in this one place, where we'll also share official release notes to help members see all the new things that are different. I don't like change for changes sake (but I eventually get used to it ) . Have the price graphs been permanently removed ? Or just not migrated as yet ? I'm sure we all find them very useful (although a bit embarrassing at times to Amazon deal posters ? ) .
That's what I've noticed is missing so far (the price graphs ) and haven't noticed any additions or extra functionality , perhaps I just haven't noticed yet ?
Tom Nice one , they are a great help (to those members who actually bother to read the deal ) .
Shame the "Tinder for Deals" function is still there . and still not displaying nett likes . Every deal (good or bad ) thus gets 20+ likes displayed . I understand the reasons but not good feedback for deal posters . I know my deals are not appreciated by the membership unless I get 40+ likes . If you won't display nett likes (likes minus don't likes ) then how about a "star rating "
1 star - more than 10 nett likes
2 star - more than 15 nett likes
3 star - more than 20 nett likes
etc, etc . This would give members a more accurate evaluation of their deals or indeed non deals without embarrassing them by displaying a negative value . It would also be good feedback to members and possibly encourage them to spend a little more time finding good deals to post ?
To add the carrot , perhaps you could reward deals with say 50 points per star , just a thought .
emmabeckz Golfforall Price history graphs now have the new function of when you move your mouse over the line it'll tell you the price at that moment. Makes it a little bit easier to see what the price was in the past. Previously, our price history graphs were just static images. Now they're proper interactive graphs generated as you load them:
Tom Yes I found them , now members need to click on the price history bar to see them . Unfortunately many members do not even view previous comments before commenting themselves so perhaps clicking on the price history bar is a step too far for many ?
Too much to write on comp page but see the dots aren't back and it's a real pain having to go to enter page to mark as entered. Also no ending date showing so easy to miss even if you filter to ending soon.
Ending date I think Kelsey said elsewhere in Chat is a bug weβre fixing thanks!
Can you remind me, do you use laptop, phone, tablet?
On devices with a mouse, when you hover over a competition post the three dots will appear on the top right and you can click 'mark as entered':
On mobile and tablet (web browser) there's unfortunately no ability to 'hover' as there's no mouse, and you would (at present, subject to change) have to click through to the competition post to mark it as entered.
However, a quick workaround would be to tap 'Enter' from the competition home page, let the competition page open, and then swipe back. The competition post will be marked as 'Entered'. This only takes a split second, and actually requires fewer taps than the dots. I understand it's not what is wanted, but just sharing a workaround for you now.
Hi Tom , yes I am on a kindle fire but have noticed difference when I'm on my home pc in my office. Thanks for the advice, I will eventually get to grips with it.
Somewhere else I have mentioned that when I forget and still tap with finger (dots used to come up then) I now get a message saying ok we will look into it as it seems to think I have reported when I haven't. Worried this causes the team extra work and the adding and taking away of 5 points each time 
but as I said I am doing it far less often now.

The dots are back! 
We're trying a few design iterations and this one allows space for them to be present permanently so they can be accessed on touch devices too. I can't promise at the moment that they'll stay but they're likely here for Christmas at the very least 
A native dark theme for LD on desktop mode would be nice.
I've tried dark theme add-ons and it kind of breaks the website.
I like it. The layout is clear with lots of details available. I haven't found any issues so far.
I have noticed that if you right click on something to open it in a new window you have to click on the text rather than the image. (Yesterday I thought you couldn't do this at all, but it's ok today)
The text is defaulted to the left hand side.
The number of entries a competition has is now at the bottom of the post rather than the top.
When looking at a single comp on it's own you can't save it without using the three dots, the save button has disappeared.
Lots of seemingly minor things have also changed.
Deal pics look blurred on the main page, they look better once I click through the deal, individual deal pages look better now with the price highlighted in blue.
I was hoping the issue with the expired posts will be resolved but it's still there, not able to hide them from my profile view even if I untick the Show expired posts... Another thing that still need fixing is the missing 3 dots on mobile devices, I have accidentally reported few comps recently while trying to mark them as entered.
sunshinemum They do look a little bit blurry don't they. Will see if there's anything we can do to help there.

sunshinemum Hello just an update that Kelsey has worked over the Christmas break to overhaul the image system so new images should be clearer now!

I have just noticed that you can't now see how long a competition has left to run... unless you open each comp up individually.
Also on the competitions side - when you sort using the 'ending' button you get the closed comps from 2016! (Even when turning off the expired posts)

I had the same issue with very old comps showing but they're gone now after I logged out and logged back in

I can tell from the notifications I get that some LD members only enter those that are closing imminently so they must be struggling at the moment.
I notoced it was different as soon as I came on this morning, a change is always good as we become very complacment when things don't move on. Will have a wander around and see what else I can spot

tumblespots Good spot! The prices seem a bit small though. I'll pass on the feedback to perhaps increase the size.
I miss the 'ending' date as I tend to save comps throughout the day and enter in the evening or save when on hols to complete when I return

Overall very nice change, however not a big fan of the user profile picture at the top, preferred that as it was before (Below the deal). Great work guys
