Can you spot the difference? Comment what you find!

Tech Whizz Kelsey has worked super hard to deliver a huge improvements to Latest Deals' website (not the app, yet). So a BIG thank you to him from all of us of the Latest Deals community.

Please shout when you spot things not working, we expect a few things may be broken and are working fast to fix. We really wanted to give this to you before Christmas!

p.s. The new version of Latest Deals is rolling out steadily to all members. You may need to refresh the homepage a few times to see it. If you don't, don't panic, it'll be coming to you soon!

I have just noticed that you can't now see how long a competition has left to run... unless you open each comp up individually.

Also on the competitions side - when you sort using the 'ending' button you get the closed comps from 2016! (Even when turning off the expired posts)

I had the same issue with very old comps showing but they're gone now after I logged out and logged back in

I notoced it was different as soon as I came on this morning, a change is always good as we become very complacment when things don't move on. Will have a wander around and see what else I can spot πŸ˜€ .

I miss the 'ending' date as I tend to save comps throughout the day and enter in the evening or save when on hols to complete when I return πŸ™‚

Overall very nice change, however not a big fan of the user profile picture at the top, preferred that as it was before (Below the deal). Great work guys πŸ‘

To share some differences that haven't yet been commented about...

  • Images on homepage now zoom in a bit when you hover hover to make them a bit bigger
  • Details in individual deal posts are now in clearer 'blocks' to make the information easier to digest
  • Alternative deals are now shown with nice new design:

  • Relevant money saving guides are shown on specific deal posts to help members save more money:

  • 'Save' button has been switched with 'Share' button ('Save' still available in the 3 dots menu '...')

Gazz3 Hey images should be nice and clear now. Kelsey has re-made the way images are uploaded and re-sized so they are higher res, yet faster.

When a post is expired, we now put a clear warning label at the top. This is to better communicate with members the post is no longer available:

Tom I have noticed that the freebies don't show any dates (when they are getting close to expiry). Is this now normal or should they be showing a date as they used to?

tumblespots Hey just to say I've passed on this feedback. We had a problem of not being able to fit all the labels on mobile devices (sometimes there's up to 4 labels: In-store, 80% off, Trending, and the expiry) so it got disabled. We may just add them to the individual posts rather than home-page view. Will keep you updated.

I've noticed a change that has happened today - when I reply to comments my cursor is before the name I am replying to rather than after as it usually was!

I have noticed another glitch (I hope it's not just me) but when I search vouchers for a particular company (I haven't tried it elsewhere) and then try to sort them by date the page just won't settle even if I refresh it - it stays blank. I do hope you can help and appreciate you hard work.

Tom I have just done an example on Lands End (to look for vouchers). The initial search shows this

BUT, when I try to change 'relevance' to 'date' I get a blank page. The same happens if I try and select Lands End (as opposed to End Clothing or West End)
