Nintendo Switch OLED Competition Winner

Other

Couldn't believe my luck. I won on my first latest deals competition. I won the Nintendo Switch OLED, I was very sceptical if the email was genuine, and I spent several hours debating to reply.

I thought I'd share for anyone wondering if these competitions are legit Image

I've won many competitions in the past, and one from Latest Deals, via one of their Facebook groups.

I love that we get offered Amazon Vouchers for participating on the website but they also host a variety of competitions themselves, as well as those that get posted where you enter through other sites.

Thanks so much Latest Deals and congratulations NicEm on your fantastic win!

Fantastic prize although I do get a bit annoyed at how low power Nintendo consoles are. I mean you can emulate the Nintendo Switch now on fairly humble PCs some of which cost less than the Switch itself. Last Nintendo console I had was the wii u and even though it came out much later many of its games were lower quality versions of PS3 and Xbox 360 games. It turned out the GPU was only 176 gflops I think and the processor was always known to be weaker than 360 and PS3. I used to enjoy Sonic Racing on it but it was only 640p on wii u with simpler sound compared to the other consoles and the controller wasn't quite as good to play on and still feel the wii u controller is better than the Switch controller. Yet the wii u as weak as it was still managed a version of Zelda same as the Switch.

BonzoBanana I believe they are designed to be like this. Nintendo produces games for a different niche market than Microsoft and Sony. I love mine for playing classics like Zelda.

kikogpe Yes Nintendo profit greatly from their hardware where as Sony and Microsoft tend to sell theirs at a small loss. I see now there are mobile phones that can emulate Switch at full speed , Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is one of them.
