Old-Fashioned Teen Living like Its the Forties, Would You Live in the past ?

Ask a Question

After reading and posting a lot of articles about bad things going on in the world i read this feelgood story and thought it would be nice to post

What's unusual about this is that the person involved is a teenager who loves everything from the forties

So much so that he dresses like people did then, drives a car from that period, doesn't own a mobile and uses an old 1940s telephone and even listens to music by Vera Lynn and other stars from this period rather than todays music

The only modern day item he had to use was a laptop for college, but he said he hated it

He also says he loves his food too much to 'ration' it like in the war, and with a surname like his , being 'Grubb' , who can blame him

If you could go back in time, even as he has, would you ?

Aww love it. Think going back is a trend. We are all getting burnt out by modern life and a simpler life in reality is nicer.

I was born in 1963 and Foot.Tapper by the Shadows was No 1 in the charts. At 7 yrs I was Cliff fan and and 17 playing 60's music in pubs and clubs so I guess I gotta bit of a thing about the 60s but that said I am also mad about show music so would love to have hung out on Broadway in the 50's as well.

People like this are my favourite tbh. Just embracing what they love and not really caring what others think. If it makes him happy fairplay
