Panic! Do I Need to Put Water in the Slow Cooker with Meat?

Having a bit of a panic! Iv put the pork in the slow cooker and left for work forgot to add water! Is it dangerous?!

It's not dangerous but may be a bit dry. I wouldn't put just water any way but maybe stock next time or some cider and chopped apples with pork?

ReplyHopefully you've set it on low, I always pop my meat on a base of veg, onion etc. If there was fat on the pork then it will produce some liquid anyway.
