Can You Remember the 1st TV Programme You Loved as a Child??

Ask a Question

I always remember it was Magic Roundabout, and I could set the clock to it....my dad would pull up on the drive in his Ford Capri, I would run out and say hello, give him a big cuddle and then run back inside, and it would be 5.40pm, BBC1, and then I would sit ready for Magic Roundabout, and it started on time, was gutted not on at the weekend.....

I absolutely loved the flumps. So much so my Nan made me one as back in the day you would never find merchandise for this programme.

Tbh I can't. I was a child of the 50s and was lucky to even see a tv, let alone a programme on it. As I got older but still pre teen, I loved watching stuff like: The Saint, The Champions, The Baron, The High Chaparel, Bonanza, The Big Valley, The Six Million Dollar Man ...... Wow I could go on but doubt many on here have even heard of them. Dr Kildare was my favourite, Richard Chamberlain was my celebrity crush, only later in life did I find out he was gay, still loved him though.
