Have You Had Success Using X (Formally Twitter) to Complain?
Ask a Question
With some companies, I can't get any sense out of them by phoning Customer Services or sending emails, so I go onto X. It seems to get their attention pretty quickly.
I had a delivery from Asda on Wednesday and they sent me £87.20 worth of the wrong items (cigarettes). After going round and round with the outsourced CS, I turned to X Saturday afternoon. They DMd me straight away and after some communications, I was refunded the whole £87.20 this morning. And I get to keep the cigarettes.
I find X great when I'm not getting anywhere with CS as the companies don't like complaints about them being posted which can be seen by everyone.
Has anyone else had any luck?
I had a problem with asdas' home delivery sent me stuff I did not order . I got 3 packs of lady things shampoo a birthday cake soup items missing dog food cat food milk bread shower gel I did get a full refund and kept all the items
Not on twitter so never used it to complain about anything but i do find it a bit annoying that these companies will only correct a problem if they are receiving negative publicity.
You would think companies would want to correct their mistakes but these days it’s hard getting them to even take responsibility
I seldom ever use X but you have given me ideas now.Thank you squire.Fancy sending you Benson lights when you wanted Capstan full strength lol.Cheeky folk.
Asda has gone downhill big time, used to be good, but we've also had 2 wrong orders, or orders that they deemed as lost, took forever to sort out, won't buy from them again anytime soon
Yeah I noticed this too
Cause I can’t go to shops often and I had to try using Twitter this was last year as I tried calling Sainsbury’s customer service
The call connected but all I could hear were voices and they completely ignored me and cut me off they hung up the phone on their end!! So rude
Yes i find contacting companies on x works well companies tend to come back to you via it rather then otherways
