Tesco Christmas Advert

I saw this earlier and thought it was very christmassy but also felt it very long trying to put the message across.

I hadn't seen it until now. I think it's great. It describes me most years. Takes me ages to get into the Christmas spirit. I don't like the John Lewis ad this year.

Yes, I agree, it's a good one, I hadn't seen it before now. It seemed a bit long but I daresay it will be cut down as they do with many ads once they become familiar.

I have liked it from the start , esp when the boy tries to pull his sleeve down over the Xmas branch on his arm .

Didn't want to start a new topic but bored tonight so watching YouTube. One of the reaction clips of an American watching our Xmas ads. The animals bouncing on a trampoline, the little boy and his penguin needing a friend, the WWI footie match and giving of chocolate, and the man in the moon. She was crying by the end and I am not ashamed to say so was I. Bring back those great ads, I personally can do without non Christmas venus fly trap ads!

Better than Asda's that's for sure.

I’m not really keen on the men dressed as trees but like the traditional Christmas table spread with the Tesco logo at the end. Just a normal Christmas ad not trying too hard.
