Weighted Blankets

Do you/ your kids use a weighted blanket? Is it any good?
I'm thinking of getting my neices (under 10 yrs old) weighted blankets but don't know if it's worth getting the kiddy ones, the teddy bear style ones or just the standard ones. Any recommendations?
I have a few of different weighted ones, I personally dont like them as I think it makes me feel claustrophobic (I think) and generally uneasy but then I'm an extremely light sleeper, the wife on the other hand appears to like them and then 100 or so other blankets on top.
If it were warm enough a light sheet would be enough for me.Certainly wouldn't want anything weighted.I like dangling bits of me outta the bed lol.
It is supposed to be good for restless legs which my mum gets. I have suggested it to her but she doesn't like the thought of it. Although she could just put it over her legs though.
Its said that weighted blankets can help with Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, Autism and ADHD. I have one and didn't like it to start with but have perservered and got used to it now, actually feel it is now helping/calming me to get some sleep which is a great benefit. I would have a read up about weighted blankets specifically for children, I think children's blankets go up to 4kg in weight.
i have the regular adult one. i find it really helps me sleep but is quite heavy i would say too heavy for a child.
I absolutely love weighted blankets I find they really help keep me relax before sleep definitely worth it. I know boots had a brilliant one over Christmas not sure if it’s still available
