When Are You Back in Work?

I have the rest of the week off, so I am not back in work until next week. My son is back in work tomorrow, so he is busy ensuring his shirts are washed and ironed, I got him an iron and ironing board for a Christmas gift. He did ask for them, so he is now, at the age of 25, officially an adult 
I'm not looking forward to getting back to normal next week as it's been nice not having to set the alarm to get up. It's been a relaxing few weeks.
When are you back ?
Back at work today. The retail company I work for shuts NY day as well as 3 days over Xmas (Eve,day,boxing)
ch7leach At least you had the Christmas period off, my sister also works in retail and was back in on Boxing Day, but for the first time ever didn't have to work Christmas Eve.
beccatavender yeah most retail places are open throughout so what I get is fairly good. I did also have a few extra days off between Xmas and NY because I felt like it and could and also gave more than half my staff the time off too.
ch7leach I bet they really appreciated that, I didn't realise how hard retail staff worked until my sister started working in that sector.
I was in work on Christmas Day and New Years Day. but this week off till thursday, I get one extra day off usually work tuesday
Imnotcheap I hope you have a relaxing few days off. I know I am not looking forward to seeing how many emails I have in my inbox on my return.

Been working over Christmas and new years day in a mad a & e department at a London hospital
jdible I was in Doncaster Hospital this time last year and I can only say a big thank you to all the NHS staff. You are wonderful and so overworked.
I was really shocked at some of the behaviour I saw in A&E from a few but very vocal numpies towards staff.
Back to work today after almost 3 weeks off. It’s been a lovely time but back to reality.
I'm one of the lucky ones and don't have to work anymore, but I help family with childcare.
We go back to work on Monday. Finished on the 23rd and go back on the 9th. Been lovely having the time off.
I go back Monday the 9th i wasn't well the first week with the flu and a stomach bug still been good being off
