Would-Be Air Hostesses Forced to Strip to Their Underwear

In the News

I could only find this story online in a flight attendant article , and a travel article and yahoo , but yahoo tends to expire, hence i posted the other links

When i read it i thought how are companies like Kuwait Airways allowed to interview for flight attendant jobs by asking the candidates to lift their clothing to check for moles, scars etc, we are in the 21st century !!

It is one of the most degrading things i have heard of

They also asked them if they would be willing to lose or put on weight for the job

They also excluded anyone wearing glasses and any male candidates not from Kuwait

If this was a European airline they would have been taken to court and given the heaviest fines available

My opinion is people should boycott this airline for such blatant sexism

No doubt decisions by other airlines to employ flight attendants are based on looks also , but they don't make it so blatantly obvious and i don't believe they make candidates strip to their underwear

MelissaLee1 I stopped trusting Trustpilot years ago when a scam retailer/sellet kept taking down genuine reviews of customers who were scammed.

I hope those people got their money back via chargeback or whatever possible.

PhilipMarc I get miffed when I spend hours playing games for cash from Google Play Store downloads and then they neither pay up or allow negative feedback. I don't mind watching a few ads if I see some dosh at the end of it but Play Store need to capture these shysters. FB Market Place is another den of thieves.

PhilipMarc If I see any retail or service provider using the TrustPilot logo - I look elsewhere. I consider the site little short of corrupt. Those even allowed to use the logo have to pay quite heavily for the right to do so.

I am not the only person with these views and wonder how long it will be before everyone realises they're being conned.

This, a few years old, is just one of numerous very negative reviews of TrustPilot, unable for TrustPilot to get removed because it contains the TRUTH. spainsnews.com/scam-exposed-you-cannot-trust-trustpilot/

I could never be an air hostess for many reasons with the main one I take up too much space in the aisle.

"I could only find this story online in a flight attendant article" The probable reason for that is even the gutter press in this country wouldn't touch a story based on rumour and hearsay. The spelling in what you did find should have made it obvious that the "journalist" and editor were totally incompetent. Any journalist who uses the word "WHERE" instead of "WERE" (not just in the headline). Wouldn't get a job with any actual newspaper. Any editor who didn't spot it before publication would never get a job as an editor.

Even the link to that piece of total garbage (with numerous inconsistencies) contained the spelling error most seven year olds wouldn't make.
