Lidl's Pink Gin is BACK!
- Lidl has rereleased their pink gin
- Sell out gin flew off the shelves in November
- Variations also available in Aldi and Asda
- Tesco is the best value version
Lidl has brought back their in demand pink gin, just in time for Christmas, as reported in The Sun.
The Hortus gin liqueurs cost just £11.99 for a 50cl bottle, and come in raspberry, and rhubarb and gin flavours.
When Lidl released them in November, they sold 400 bottles in just an hour, making them Lidl’s fastest selling drink to date.
Gin lovers will have to act fast to get their hands on a bottle, as they’re expected to sell out fast once they go on sale today.
Both flavours are handcrafted and traditionally distilled in copper stills.
Tristan Stephenson, Lidl’s spirits consultant, said, “The Hortus Scottish Raspberry gin can be consumed on its own, over ice, or as part of a Spritz with champagne.
“For the Rhubarb and Ginger gin, serve it with an earthly ginger beer instead of the usual tonic mixer.”

Where else can you get pink gin?
Lidl’s discount supermarket rival Aldi is also selling premium gins this Christmas.
Earlier this year, Aldi brought out a range of posh craft gins for between £10 and £20 a bottle; other stores sell similar variations for £40.
Included in these gins, is a ‘Victoria pink gin’, which costs £19.99 a bottle, and is described as “smooth and refreshing with a hint of spice.”
Tesco is stocking a bottle of Gordon’s Premium Pink Distilled gin, that’s even cheaper than Aldi.
The high end gin is currently on sale, costing just £14 for a 70cl bottle, making it better value than Lidl and Aldi’s versions.
Asda has a more expensive version of the pink liqueur from Edinburgh Gin.
Edinburgh Gin’s Rhubarb and Ginger Liqueur is on sale for £18 for 50cl from Asda, £6 more expensive than one of the same flavour and size from Lidl.
The gin is described as “a perfect base for sparkling cocktails or just as it comes for a winter warmer.”
Earlier in the year, Latest Deals found that gin loving mums were making their own Ginvent Calendars to save money instead of splashing out on one from a supermarket.
