If you’ve dreamed of opening a Tiffany & Co jewellery box on Christmas morning, here is the next best thing: a stunning Tiffany-style wreath that you can make for just £10.
Claire Dronfield, 35, from Coventry, was inspired to create the stunning teal wreath to match the colour scheme of her living room, and the result ended up looking just like a scene from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Claire, a mum-of-two, told money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk: "I came up with the idea after I saw someone had made a wreath out of baubles. I bought around 172 baubles from IKEA and TJ Hughes costing a total of £10.
"I chose this colour scheme because it's the colours in my lounge, and I love the colour teal. I used picture wire to thread the baubles on.
“If you use glitter baubles, use some newspaper underneath because the glitter gets everywhere! Also buy more baubles than you actually need to allow for broken or defective ones.”
Claire is delighted with how her wreath has turned out and revealed the look has been a hit with her friends.
"I'm extremely happy with the result,” she added. "Lots of my co-workers, friends and family have asked me to make them one for next Christmas."
Tom Church, co-founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, says: “Claire’s pretty wreath is a prime example of how choosing one strong colour for Christmas decorations can result in a classic yet modern look. Anyone who loves the iconic Tiffany & Co colours will adore this look - and best of all, it’s so easy to recreate! All you need is baubles and picture wire."
