Adele Admits Stealing Hotel Toiletries for Her Mansion Guests , is It Moral ?
Ask a Question
Well she is not short of a bob or two to say the least but Adele says she still takes the free toiletries from hotels she stays in to stock up the bathrooms in her £48 million pound mansion
She says she only uses Amazon to buy this type of thing normally , but they don't stock the prestige items she wants to use in her bathrooms
So she takes things like individually wrapped toothbrushes and shaving foam from hotels
But then has the cheek to put her own logo on them !
She says she is not tight, but might need to talk to a therapist about it
What do you think , is this right , after all , she is only worth £165 million ?
Omg she does that?! That’s damn ridiculous!! Is there even a need to take them when she’s that rich?!! And putting her logo on them pfft
Well technically she has paid for them so up to her and she’s not selling them but using in her own residence so I don’t see the problem despite how rich she is.
They'll probably turn a blind eye cos she's good for business methinks.Soap in their eyes.
I expect she feels she’s already paid for the toiletries. I’ve been known to pack some unused bits from hotels.
Pjran Nor the first nor the last lol.I always buy em up cheap from bootsales from others who have. They sit easier in the shower andthey don't confiscate them at customs.
To take them from an Hotel Room Is OK In my mind as Its complimentary but to re brand them and give them to her guests Is outrageous. Why would you do that ? She definitely needs a therapist. All the Money she has and she cant afford to splash out herself ? What a Miser.
At the end of the day she's paid for the room so why shouldn't she take them ? So what she's got loads of money she didn't always have that the cheapskate will always be within her
No, it definitely isn't moral and I am surprised she had the cheek to admit it!
Maybe she should think about hotel prices being raised for the not so wealthy in order to compensate for this thievery. I don't believe anyone should steal unopened items although I believe there is a case for taking opened ones as I have heard they are binned.
For those who think it is harmless as they are there to be used, so are sheets, towels etc. Should we take those too?
As for putting her own logo on them I am sure she would sue anyone who put their own logo on any of her products or creations. She has gone down in my esteem.
Lynibis Good point about the logo L , i suppose what she does is not so bad as some do, i think i posted this a while back

Hotel toiletries etc are paid for in the cost of the room anyway, so don't see a problem her taking them What surprises me is the fact she can be bothered I would have assumed someone that rich that is always touring , would have staff to do everything for them including packing and unpacking her things.
Don't really believe the Amazon bit thou, sure she has staff to buy everything in her mansion . I'm Sure she has no idea about what brands and products are used at home, she just knows her own personal brands and preferences.
telmel Indeed, and they probably give her toiletries freebies in exchange for the free advertising
Isn't it amazing that the wealthiest people think they can get something for nothing all the time. It's bordering on criminal as it at the expense of others.
Well I've never taken any, I always use my own, I prefer what I normally use to hotel stuff
I must admit i do love the free bits and jobs from hotels, not surprised at Adele, I'm sure she's not the only one
The things supplied in the room, I would understand if people take them.
Some businesses throw them away even if the customer didn't use them, so it makes sense to take them. Although I left the ones there last time I stayed somewhere.
I completely understand why she'd take them, but to rebrand them I feel is going too far and I'd hope they had all the ingredients and information on them, because of allergies and other issues.
It is up to her where she buys her products normally, but if I was in that situation, I'd want to buy local and well sourced products.
This isn't illegal but putting her own logo on them seems unnecessary (she didn't produce these products after all)
Well i assume the hotel factors in the cost of these sorts of things so i don’t see any issue with it tbh. If she were taking things like the dressing gowns that would be bad.
I am sure there is a company that can provide this service for her, somewhere someone is personalising most products. A lot of hotels these days have stopped the miniature shampoo etc and have refillable bottles on the walls. Hopefully even the real posh hotels will follow this to help the environment.
