LPG Cars

Other

I have one and love how cheap LPG gas is opposed to gasoline (great, but pricier) and the fact alone old cars have LPG make it worth buying, imo.

As of currently, LPG isn't that popular though it's possible it will considering its low price.

The price of petrol and/or Ulez costs in London might encourage pedal cars before long.

MelissaLee1 ULEZ is just a scam to make people give up using their cars and use public transport, but the problem is if they need to transport heavy items, buses aren't gonna be an option.

Plus, there's a lot of good stuff people throw away so you can just stop, pick it up, and drive away.

Dacia Sandero is a cheap bi-fuel car starting at £13,795. It only seemed a few years ago they launched at half that price though. I'm in Yeovil and the nearest LPG stockist is Podimore services which is about 10 miles away and a direction I rarely travel on so it would be a special journey of 20 miles. I think there was a LPG stockist in Yeovil in the past but they have been removed to put charging points in for EVs. The LPG network seems to be shrinking quite a lot. It feels like something that was a good option in the past but is getting less so especially as many cars had small LPG tanks. I guess it really depends on where you are. I'm in an area with a relatively low population density.

This type of technology is established and works well , only the price of LPG goes against people using it

But i am sure if more was invested in research the price could be reduced and it is a lot easier to convert a car to this fuel than spend a fortune on an EV , which has a larger carbon footprint when it comes to their production and scrapping, especially concerning the battery

LPG is good when compared to diesel and petrol. But many people didn’t have awareness and also it occupies the car space

Mark007 True M, but look how much space an EV battery takes up

Mark007 I think in the Dacia's it occupies the spare wheel space so a relatively small tank. This could still work well for you if you have a LPG seller close to your home. It also operates as a range extender too so set off with both tanks full and you have a great range.
