What is the Worst Movie You Have Seen Recently?

Ask a Question

For me its Netflix - Leave the world behind.

With Julia Roberts and Kevin Bacon i thought it would be a hit with me. But i found it a bit weird and the ending was so incomplete! 2 and a half hours of my life wasted! What about you?

I haven’t really watched any recently. The last one was a Christmas film on tv, I forget the name. I was getting all Christmassy until there was a baby shower scene which just really upset me because I couldn’t have children so could have done without it. Ended up balling 😭.

I found Oppenheimer blockbuster movie somewhat boring, I’m not into action films but there was no action in this film.

Pjran I turned it off after an hour, it bored me and didn't fancy watching another 2 hours, very disappointing film

The little mermaid remake was awful paid £14 for it on sky store. Never again.

My second choice is The Exorcist: Believer - a dull pastiche of the 1971 original and other exorcism films. My least favourite for 2023 is Fast X (aka Fast & Furious 10) - I found the story and dialogue to be incredibly cringeworthy.

Christmas is peak time for bad films. Those straight to tv Christmas films always seem to be so unbelievable and cliched.

Totally agree, Leave the world behind left me thinking 'What have I just watched' I'm glad you think the same, as I thought I was a bit thick in not understanding what I was watching or what I'd just watched.

I actually rewound the last 5 mins of the end asking myself what did I miss!

The worst movie I have watched recently was Retribution with Liam Neeson. It would have been better watching paint dry. It was so slow and boring and a waste of one and a half hour of my life. 😬

I actually like cheesy old scifi movies which most people would think were terrible. I watched 'Land of the Lost' yesterday that got poor reviews and was a big flop but I still I enjoyed it. Unfortunately as you get older you start seeing repeated patterns in movies its like new films just mix up old scripts. It's like Steven Seagal movies which are generally terrible but I find them enjoyable to watch because of how terrible they are. I guess what I really hate is very slow moving movies about subject matter I'm not interested in at all like the Royal Family.
